Don McKillop, Founder and CTO

Don McKillop, Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of CAMCAD Technologies Inc., has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and software technology. With extensive knowledge in this area, McKillop has grown his company to become consistently ranked as a “Top 10 Reseller of SURFCAM”, both domestically and internationally over the last 20 years.

McKillop and his team have earned the reputation as a unique problem solver, due to their ability to provide customized solutions to most challenging manufacturing tasks. This has in turn, helped hundreds of small to medium-sized manufacturers become more productive, lean and efficient, thereby significantly increasing their overall bottom line.

Prior to founding CAMCAD Technologies, McKillop was CAM product manager for MDSI, Applicon, ComputerVision, and Automation Intelligence, Inc., where he interfaced with Fortune 500 manufacturers.

Mr. McKillop attained his Journeyman Tool & Die designation during an apprenticeship at Ford Motor Company in Detroit in the 1960s.

Alison Wildblood, CEO

Alison Wildblood, CEO

Alison Wildblood serves as CEO and Co-owner of CAMCAD Technologies, Inc., managing the company’s overall sales, marketing and administration activities.

Wildblood draws upon her successful sales background and management training with defense, aerospace, military, and government industries, in order to communicate and convey complex concepts, products and programs to assist CAMCAD’s clients.

Prior to joining CAMCAD, Wildblood worked with EVB Consulting, Inc. where she made presentations at conferences and high-level software engineering meetings for NASA and NORAD. Additionally, she conducted a briefing with engineers developing the StarWars project. Wildblood served as a reseller of SolidEdge CAD software for two years; worked with Ada Software for three years and spent five years in sales, management and training in the insurance industry.

Wildblood earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from the College of Wooster in Ohio.

Vanessa Townsend, Office Manager/Administration

Vanessa Townsend, Office Manager/Administration

Vanessa Townsend is an accomplished bookkeeper with a keen understanding of setting up and maintaining books for small- to mid-size businesses.

With expertise in QuickBooks, Townsend manages payables and receivables, processes sales tax, payroll, files employment tax returns and reconciles bank accounts, loans and credit cards.

Prior to joining CAMCAD Technologies in 2007, Townsend was the Regional Bookkeeper for LandAmerica Financial Group. Her attention to detail coupled with a strong work ethic, has enabled her to increase productivity by continually seeking more efficient and streamlined processes.

Townsend is currently expanding her knowledge by pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Accounting Technology from Seminole State College.

Darin Weatherbee, Operations and Customer Support Manager

Darin Weatherbee’s diverse background includes managing quality control for the medical and automotive industries.

Weatherbee joined CAMCAD in 1997 as the company’s Information Technology (IT) Specialist and now serves as its Operations and Support Desk Manager. His vast understanding of SURFCAM, Predator Software, and various hardware and software technologies gives him a competitive edge when it comes to not only handling CAMCAD’s IT requirements, but client support needs as well. Weatherbee is highly qualified in the implementation and management of technologies including handling everything from LAN, Internet, DataBase, SIMs, Web-Site, front line customer service, to Predator DNC installations and troubleshooting.

Weatherbee is a Microsoft certified Server Specialist.

Mark Zalewski, Senior Manufacturing Consultant

Mark Zalewski, Senior Manufacturing Consultant

Mark Zalewski has over 30 years experience with CAM software and was educated at a renowned European Engineering college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, he has served as supervisor and manager in several manufacturing companies.

Zalewski has been associated with CAMCAD since 1993, and has been our expert in SolidWorks design, SURFCAM Multi-axis part programming, FAROArm reverse engineering, tool selection, fixture design, surface modeling, troubleshooting and training. Zalewski earned his Mechanical Engineering degree in Poland.
