Greetings! Here’s hoping the year has been good to you so far.
Don and I attended the SURFCAM Resellers Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona last week and we want to share our impression/opinion of all the changes. It was very encouraging, productive, and fun. We always enjoy spending time with the other SURFCAM resellers from the US and the other countries. As we indicated in our announcement about the Vero purchase of Surfware’s assets in February, this change is proving to be a good thing for the product, the resellers, and most importantly, our customers.
Since February the new company (SURFCAM, Inc.) has moved their headquarters; acquired all new networks, computers and servers; migrated to the Vero corporate accounting system; consolidated all the requests for enhancements and bug fixes; and had part of the Vero team of 150+ software developers evaluate the SURFCAM source code in preparation for the next release this fall.
Here are a few highlights from the meeting:
- All Vero products increased sales in 2012
- Each brand added new functionality, and SURFCAM will be no exception
- SURFCAM is now part of the world’s largest CAM software company
- Vero management is quick to spot issues and quick to resolve them
- Feedback from the Resellers (from the customers) is important and will be acted upon
- 2013 is going to be a busy and good year for SURFCAM! Stay tuned.
