But just like cooking, TrueMill is only one ingredient in the HSM recipe - to be consistently successful achieving the high Metal Removal Rates (MRRs) claimed by www.surfware.com the right amounts of following ingredients are needed:-

Cutting tools designed for high metal removal rates
Tool holders precise enough to not cause edge-killing vibration at high RPM, and with secure retaining mechanisms so the tool stays put
CNC machine options such as high spindle RPM, not just thru-spindle coolant – high pressure thru-spindle coolant, enough CNC processing horsepower to position the XYZ slides accurately at very high feed rates
Proper training to "cook" all of the above.
